Research Sample

Panama Wave's marketing support in relation to the US market rests on a solid core of proprietary research. We have completed seven surveys of a total of more than 115,000 adult Americans on the subject of relocation and/or the purchase of property outside the United States, with particular emphasis on those interested in Central America and the Caribbean. Our surveys are professionally implemented, following standard statistical guidelines to assure balanced and accurate results. Due to sample sizes far greater than other surveys, the margins of error for our surveys range from one percent to as little as six-tenths of one percent.

Demographic information was collected in the following categories, among others:

  • age
  • gender
  • income
  • race/ethnicity
  • investor status
  • US region
  • urban/suburban/rural currently
  • marital status
  • religion
  • political affiliation
  • own or rent currently
